Competition Week is upon us

Coach's Gratitude-
Hopefully all of you had the chance to recharge over the holiday weekend amidst the various practices and scrimmages.  I am grateful for 8 hour car rides with my family.  While that may seem odd it is 16 hours that we all get to be together and can't be pulled somewhere else.  I hope that our wrestlers were reminded of reasons that they are grateful and found genuine ways to express that feeling.

Wrestling Recap (Results)
Tuesday night for of our wrestlers competed in the Pre-Season Central District All Star Meet.  Our coaching staff was pleased with what we saw in our 3 minute matches and it made us even more excited about the start of the season.
Madison Sharp dropped a 1-0 Decision
Josh Melms won 7-2
Lincoln Heard dropped a 6-0 Decision
Erryl Will won by fall

Our Varsity opens up this Friday night at 6pm vs Delaware both Varsity and JV teams wrestle on Saturday at Home.

Hydration Testing
For wrestler of parent  who wants a copy of thier weight certification please contact Coach Andrews 937.243.1911 If you have not yet taken or passed hydration testing the next opportunity is this Tuesday at Marysville

One of the primary fundraisers for our team is concession sales.  We do not ask our wrestlers to sell cards, candy bars or anything else.  Your wrestlers give great effort everyday in practice, when we host events you can do your part by signing up to work a shift in our concession stand.  The money raised from hosting events and the corresponding concession sales allows are wrestlers to have the opportunity to benefit from things like Mindset Training,  and practice sessions with tOSU wrestler Kollin Moore. Additionally this year by working a session in the concession stand you earn a credit towards your wrestlers off-season wrestling opportunities. (Camps/Disney etc, Gear etc) Please sign up using the following link.

  • Looking for other ways to help? We are looking for the following for this season.
  • Home Dual Announcer
  • Table Workers for Home Tournaments/Duals
  • Tournament Set-up

If you are interested or available please contact Coach Andrews directly.  If you would like to take a leadership role in organizing these groups please specify in the email.
